Lindsay Lohan To Start Community Service At A Morgue

Lindsay Lohan community serviceIt has been revealed that actress Lindsay Lohan will carry out her duties of community service in a morgue!

Lindsey who was recently sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service, for breaching the terms of her probation, allegedly stole a $2,000 necklace from a designer jewellers.

She has now been ordered to complete a week at the Los Angeles County morgue. She must serve 120 hours with the coroner, and take on tasks of maintenance and janitorial work, in parts of the building where dead bodies are a common sight for most…

Assistant Chief Ed Winter of the Los Angeles County Coroner told the New York Daily News newspaper: “She will empty trash, vacuum, clean restrooms. She won’t be in the autopsy area.

“However, there will be some exposure to bodies. She’ll see them but won’t touch them.”

Lindsy must also enrol at the LA downtown Women’s Center, until she completes 360 hours of work of her community service.

The 24-year-old got a ‘get out of jail free card’ as the $75,000 bail was paid and she did not serve her 120 days in prison. She returned to her home in Venice Beach after leaving the correctional facility a free woman.

Lohan is set to return to court for a pre hearing in May, although the actually trial is to start on June 3rd 2011.
