No, there has not been an official announcement stating Kate is pregnant, but it is coming, eventually. The doll making company, Arklu, is getting a jump on the competition and conception, and has already created a pregnant version of their Duchess of Cambridge doll.
Kate is seen wearing a stylish blue dress draped over a baby belly. The doll comes complete with a pair of gold pumps, a gold clutch and a red fascinator. The company has had great success with their dolls fashioned after the Duchess and is overwhelmed with requests. A spokesperson for the company says, “We’ve had a lot of requests for a pregnant Kate doll from the US.” Folks are also hoping for a Pippa Middleton doll to add to their collection as well.
While Kate mania rolls on, the Duchess is hoping to enjoy a quiet Christmas break with family. She had been preparing to join in the annual Boxing Day shoot with her husband and the rest of the Royals, but after a massive public outcry, she will not be spotted toting a gun. A source reveals, “They do not want pictures of Catherine shooting to cause the same sort of complaints that we have had in recent years.”
